- Assist teachers in preparing and conducting practical sessions and experiments.
- Set up and arrange laboratory equipment, apparatus, chemicals, and materials as required.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the laboratory.
- Maintain records of laboratory stock, equipment, consumables, and usage.
- Support teachers and students during practical classes and activities.
- Ensure chemicals and laboratory materials are stored safely and appropriately.
- Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment to the concerned authority.
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and school policies.
- Assist with periodic stock verification and replenishment of laboratory materials.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: B.Sc. / Diploma in relevant science field preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Lab Assistant, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, safety procedures, and scientific practices.
- Valuable organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work responsibly with students and teachers.
