Berkeley Hyundai is looking for an experienced and responsible Building Maintenance In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of our showroom and facilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil work, housekeeping coordination, vendor management, and general facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall maintenance and upkeep of the showroom, workshop, office, parking, and other dealership facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and identify maintenance requirements.
- Supervise electrical, plumbing, civil, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and other maintenance work.
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues and breakdowns.
- Coordinate and supervise housekeeping, security, and other facility-related activities.
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Obtain quotations, coordinate repair work, and monitor the quality of completed jobs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, expenses, equipment, and service schedules.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, lighting, air-conditioning, water supply, drainage, and other utilities.
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and fire-safety requirements.




- Monitor cleanliness and overall appearance of the premises.
- Manage maintenance-related inventory, tools, and consumables.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, breakdowns, and facility-related issues.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports and update management on pending requirements.
- Control maintenance costs while ensuring quality and timely completion of work.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, facility management, property maintenance, or a similar role.
- Experience managing commercial buildings, showrooms, offices, hotels, hospitals, or automobile dealerships will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, and general maintenance work.
- Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to supervise technicians and support staff.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and proactive approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel for maintenance records and reporting.
