Technical Lead / Checker – Components (Struts & Shocks)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Checker to review and verify engineering designs, supplier drawings, and technical documents for suspension components such as struts and shock absorbers.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and check supplier drawings and engineering documents.
- Check 3D CAD models as per customer requirements.
- Review dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, and drawing standards.
- Check component packaging, appearance, and fitment requirements.
- Identify design issues and technical risks.
- Support PPAP, APQP, and engineering release activities.
- Coordinate with design, quality, validation, and supplier teams.
- Maintain engineering checklists and review records.
- Guide junior engineers and provide technical support.

Qualification & Experience





- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
- Strong experience in suspension systems, struts, and shock absorbers.
- Valuable knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and print checking.
- Experience in PPAP, APQP, and design validation.
- Proficiency in Creo or similar CAD software.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Teamcenter / PLM.
- Experience in supplier engineering or quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
