About the Role

An experienced CBSE school teacher with a B.Ed and at least 15 years in schools, currently living in or around Kochi, who has led school programmes and wants to take charge of student life beyond the classroom.

This is a teaching-background leadership role. It is not an event management or administration post. Applicants without classroom teaching experience in schools will not be considered.

Role and Responsibilities

You will lead the school's student activities and co-curricular life: the annual activities calendar, Annual Day, Sports Day, cultural programmes, competitions, clubs, the House System and the Student Council. You will work closely with the Principal, Section Heads and Coordinators, and you will lead teams of teachers to deliver programmes on the ground.

What you will do

- Plan and run the annual Student Activities and Events Calendar, integrated with the academic calendar.

- Lead Annual Day, Sports Day, celebrations,commemorative days.

- Run inter-house and inter-school competitions and select CBSE, district, state and national programmes for student participation.

- Build the House System, Clubs and Student Council,



and mentor students into positions of responsibility.

- Allocate responsibilities to teachers, setd hold planning and review meetings.

- Ensure student supervision, discipline and safety at every activity, trip and external programme.

- Manage budgets, logistics and vendors for of participation and achievements.

- Work with the communication team to showcase student achievement.

- Take on further leadership responsibilitier Management.

Minimum Qualifications

- B.Ed (mandatory) and a graduate or postgraduate degree.

- Minimum 15 years in school education, most

- Hands-on experience organising major school programmes as the person in charge.

- Excellent spoken and written English.

- Strong planning, delegation and follow-up, and the ability to lead teachers.

- Comfortable with technology for schedulingtion.

- Currently living in or around Kochi. This is not a relocation posting.

Desirable Experience

CCA Coordinator, Student Activities Coordinardinator, Academic Coordinator or HeadTeacher in a CBSE school, with experience across Annual Day, Sports Day, competitions, House System, Clubs and educational trips.
