ignalling & Telecommunication (S&T;) Engineer – Design & Testing

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review railway signalling and telecommunication system designs as per project requirements and applicable railway standards.
- Develop and review Signalling Plans, Control Tables, Route Control Charts, Circuit Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and Interface Drawings.
- Prepare equipment layouts, cable schedules, termination details, and signalling documentation.
- Design and review interfaces between Electronic Interlocking (EI), signalling equipment, train detection systems, points, signals, level crossings, and block systems.
- Review engineering drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with RDSO/Indian Railways standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with civil, track, electrical/OHE, rolling stock, telecom, and other engineering teams for system interfaces and design requirements.
- Carry out design verification, technical checking, and validation of signalling and telecommunication drawings and documents.
- Prepare testing procedures, test plans, inspection checklists, and commissioning documentation.




- Conduct and support FAT, SAT, installation testing, pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of S&T; systems.
- Perform functional testing of signalling circuits, interlocking systems, point machines, signals, axle counters/train detection systems, level crossing equipment, and related interfaces.
- Identify and troubleshoot design, wiring, interface, and system-related issues during testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams for design approvals, inspections, testing, and resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain design revisions, test reports, inspection records, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
- Ensure all design and testing activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, safety requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.

Experience:1 year to 2 year

Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹39,000.00 per month
