Position: Live-In Caretaker / Cook / Housekeeper

Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-In

Accommodation: Provided at the residence

Location: DLF PHASE 1, GURUGRAM

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, well-mannered and experienced Live-In Caretaker/Cook/Housekeeper to take complete day-to-day responsibility for the cleanliness, upkeep and basic management of the residence and the ground-floor office.

The person should be a very clean and organized individual, take pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, and be capable of independently managing cooking, housekeeping and general caretaking duties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cooking & Kitchen Management

* Prepare fresh, hygienic and tasty Indian food on a daily basis.

* Should be able to prepare Chinese and other types of cuisine.

* Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks as required.

* Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

* Clean cooking areas, utensils, appliances and kitchen surfaces after use.

* Maintain basic kitchen supplies and inform the family when stocks need replenishment.

2. Complete Housekeeping & Cleanliness

The caretaker will be responsible for keeping the entire house spick and span at all times.

Duties will include:

* Daily sweeping, vacuuming and mopping of the house.

* Thorough dusting and cleaning of all furniture, surfaces, doors, windows and other areas.

* Making all beds every day and keeping bedrooms neat and properly organized.

* Changing bed linen, pillow covers and towels as required.

* Thorough cleaning and maintenance of all washrooms and bathrooms, including floors, toilets, basins, mirrors,



fittings and other surfaces.

* Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

* Maintaining living room, bedrooms, balconies and other areas of the house.

* Regular deep cleaning of areas that may not require daily cleaning.

* Ensuring there is no dust, dirt, unpleasant smell, clutter or unhygienic condition anywhere in the house.

* Properly arranging household items and ensuring everything is kept in its designated place.

* Taking care of furniture, appliances, fixtures and household belongings responsibly.

3. Ground-Floor Office – Complete Cleaning & Upkeep

The caretaker will also be responsible for maintaining the ground-floor office to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

This will include:

* Daily sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.

* Thorough dusting of desks, furniture, shelves, doors and other surfaces.

* Cleaning and maintaining office washrooms.

* Cleaning common areas and circulation spaces.

* Emptying dustbins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.

* Keeping the office neat, organized and presentable throughout the day.

* Regular deep cleaning wherever required.

* Ensuring the office is spotlessly clean and ready for use every morning.

4. General Caretaking Responsibilities

* Look after the house responsibly when the family is away.





* Ensure the house and office remain secure and properly maintained.

* Keep an eye on basic household requirements such as lights, water, appliances and other facilities.

* Immediately report any maintenance issue, damage, leakage or malfunction.

* Assist with basic household errands when required.

* Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the family.

* Previous experience as a Live-In Caretaker, Cook, Housekeeper or similar position preferred.

* Strong cooking skills, especially Indian cuisine; ability to prepare Chinese and other cuisines is an advantage.

* Excellent housekeeping and cleaning skills.

* Must have a strong personal sense of cleanliness and hygiene.

* Should be organized, disciplined and attentive to detail.

* Honest, trustworthy, responsible and respectful.

* Physically fit and comfortable performing daily housekeeping duties.

* Able to work independently without constant supervision.

* Should be comfortable living on the premises.

* References from previous employers will be preferred.

Important Requirement

This is strictly a LIVE-IN position.*

The caretaker will be responsible for the complete day-to-day cooking, housekeeping, cleanliness and basic care of the residence, along with the daily cleaning and upkeep of the ground-floor office.

The expected standard of cleanliness is very high — the house and office should always be maintained in a neat, organized, hygienic and spotless condition.

Salary: As per mutual agreement per month + accommodation

Joining: Immediate / within a week.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
