Key Responsibilities
- Identify and track relevant Government, Defence, PSU, and institutional tenders through GeM, CPPP, state government portals, and other e-tendering platforms.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms, EMD/PBG requirements, and submission conditions.
- Prepare and coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and compliance-related bid documents.
- Manage the complete tender lifecycle from tender identification to bid submission and post-bid follow-up.
- Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Finance, Legal, Technical, Operations, and Management teams for required inputs.
- Prepare tender checklists, compliance matrices, bid summaries, BOQs, pricing inputs, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of bids through GeM and various government e-procurement portals.
- Coordinate EMD, tender fees, Performance Bank Guarantees, security deposits, and other statutory requirements.
- Track tender clarifications, corrigendums, amendments, technical evaluations, negotiations, and award status.
- Maintain a comprehensive tender database, submission tracker, opportunity pipeline, and MIS reports.
- Support management in analysing tender opportunities, qualification requirements, competition, pricing, and win probability.
- Ensure all submissions comply with tender conditions and applicable government procurement requirements.
- Coordinate post-award documentation and handover to the concerned execution/business team.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Government Tendering and GeM portal.
- Understanding of Defence, Aerospace, UAV/Drone, Agriculture, and Government procurement is an advantage.
- Positive understanding of technical and commercial bid documentation.
- Strong documentation, coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills.
- Ability to interpret complex tender documents and identify eligibility/compliance gaps.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a relevant discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in tender management, government procurement, GeM, bid management, or business development.
- Candidates with experience handling Government/Defence/PSU tenders will be preferred.
- Experience in drone/UAV, aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or technology companies will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience with GeM and government e-procurement portals.
- Proven experience in independently managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Experience in bid preparation, compliance documentation, pricing coordination, and tender submissions.
- Strong ownership and follow-through from opportunity identification to order/contract award.
