Technology | SNIA/ITIL/NetApp Certified Technology Associate, EMCSA (Relevant Product Certification), Hitachi Qualified Qualified - Storage Administration Credential, HPE ASE ? Storage Solutions Architect V2, Relevant Product Certification

Skills required are :
Technology Management: Responsible for overall Storage technology management for the business. Manage SOPs, Knowledge documents, KB articles. Implement technical methodology improvement from past failures and learnings
Other responsibilities: Work on resolution of complex or escalated issues from L2 engineer. Preparing RCA for major incidents and problem tickets.

Triage: Generally the L3 is the final level of escalation for all Storage related issues. However in the event of an un-resolved incident which is taking longer than expected, the L3 engineer is required to co-ordinate with the Data Center TDU COE team to get expert help and work towards the resolution of incidents. They will also engage and work with the respective TAC teams to resolve any product related issues or software bugs
Process::

- Prepare RFCs and represent RFC in the CAB for approval of changes.



Assign approved changes to L2 group to implement them
- Conduct repeat incident analysis to identify proactive problem tickets and work on the permanent fix for the issues�
- Prepare a detailed shift handover report for the next shift engineer
- Constantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate on deviations as defined in the process.

Dell EMC

- Handles end-to-end storage administration including provisioning, zoning, masking, and performance tuning.
- Experienced in configuring and managing replication, snapshot, and recovery solutions.
- Performs root cause analysis for storage-related incidents and performance degradations.

HPE Storage

- Support HPE storage systems by monitoring performance and health.
- Assist in troubleshooting storage issues under guidance and escalate when required.
- Perform basic provisioning, configuration, and routine updates.

Pure Storage

- Proficient in creating and managing volumes, hosts, and protection groups.
- Knowledgeable in snapshots, replication, and data reduction features.
- Able to perform system monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
