Job Title: Accounts Executive (VAT)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, sales billing, e-commerce reconciliation, UAE VAT workings, and preparation of final accounts. You will report to the Finance Manager / Financial Controller and should be able to handle accounting independently, from transaction entry through to financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices, credit notes, and debit notes

* Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries

* Perform regular bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations

* Record and reconcile inter-party and intercompany transactions

* Reconcile e-commerce and marketplace sales with settlement reports, bank receipts, and books, accounting for refunds, returns, commissions, and gateway charges

* Prepare monthly e-commerce reconciliation reports

* Prepare UAE VAT summaries and workings (output VAT, input VAT, zero-rated and exempt supplies, reverse charge, imports and exports) and coordinate with tax consultants for filing

* Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet,



along with schedules and year-end adjustments (accruals, provisions, prepayments, depreciation)

* Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and prepare receivable and payable ageing reports

* Support month-end and year-end closing and audit finalisation

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience

* CA Intermediate/IPCC qualified or appeared (CA dropouts welcome; Intermediate-qualified candidates preferred)

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping

* Hands-on experience in final accounts preparation

* Good understanding of UAE VAT (added advantage)

* Experience with e-commerce/marketplace reconciliation (preferred)

* Solid Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation techniques

* Experience with Zoho Books, Tally.

Skills

Analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership of work, ability to meet monthly and statutory deadlines, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
