Job Summary

Legends Media Mastery is looking for an experienced and creative Editing Faculty & Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of photo and video editing, along with the ability to create engaging content for social media and digital platforms.

The role involves training students in professional editing workflows while also contributing to the institute’s content creation and digital media requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and theory-based classes on photo and video editing.
- Train students in professional editing workflows, techniques, and industry practices.
- Teach software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
- Guide students through real-world editing projects and practical assignments.
- Develop lesson plans, practical exercises, and editing projects for students.
- Create engaging social media content, reels, promotional videos, and digital content for the institute.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and deliver content for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to develop content ideas and campaigns.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, content formats, AI tools, and social media trends.
- Mentor students and provide constructive feedback to improve their technical and creative skills.
- Assist in developing course materials and practical training content.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of video editing and photo editing.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, colour grading, sound, and visual composition.
- Experience creating short-form content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Knowledge of professional editing software.
- Good understanding of social media content and digital marketing trends.
- Ability to teach and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a creative team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree/Certification in Film, Media, Visual Communication, Photography, Animation, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Editor, Content Creator, Video Editor, or Editing Faculty/Trainer.
- Professional portfolio demonstrating editing and content creation skills.
- Experience working with educational institutions, production houses, agencies, or media companies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of AI-powered creative and editing tools will be an added advantage.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Candidates with strong practical skills and a good portfolio may also be considered based on their expertise.
