We're building a strong digital identity and are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor who can help us produce visually compelling content, grow our Instagram presence, and drive organic engagement and website traffic.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Design

- Create and deliver 4 high-quality Instagram reels every week.
- Design 2 static posts or simple carousels per week.
- Develop creative ideas and concepts aligned with our streetwear aesthetic.
- Edit short-form videos with engaging hooks, transitions, sound, and storytelling.
- Maintain consistent visual branding across all content.
- Write engaging captions and relevant calls to action.
- Schedule and publish approved content on Instagram.

Social Media Growth & Optimization

- Optimize Instagram content using relevant keywords, hashtags, captions, and Instagram SEO practices.
- Research emerging trends in fashion, streetwear, and short-form video.
- Develop content designed to increase organic reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Encourage profile visits and qualified website traffic through effective content strategies.
- Monitor basic Instagram analytics, including views, reach, engagement, and link clicks.
- Share brief weekly insights and suggestions for improving performance.

AI-Assisted Content Production





- Use generative AI tools to create original visuals, videos, and other creative assets when resources are not supplied by our team.
- Combine AI-generated assets with editing and design to create polished, high-quality content.
- Ensure all content maintains a premium appearance and fits DISTORTD's brand identity.
- Avoid generic templates, obvious AI artifacts, and low-quality outputs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in short-form video editing and graphic design.
- Experience creating Instagram reels and social media visuals.
- Working knowledge of generative AI image and video tools.
- Understanding of Instagram SEO, organic reach, and engagement strategies.
- Strong visual sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.
- Good communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with fashion, streetwear, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, Gemini, or equivalent platforms.
- Previous experience growing social media accounts organically.
- A portfolio demonstrating creative content and editing ability.

Students, freshers, and self-taught creators are welcome to apply. A strong portfolio and creative ability matter more than formal qualifications.

Compensation & Payment Terms

This is a deliverable-based freelance position.

- This is an ongoing opportunity, subject to performance and mutual agreement.

Tools & Software

Candidates must have access to their own editing, design, and AI-generation tools.

You may use Canva, Gemini, CapCut, Adobe applications, or other tools capable of producing the required output.

DISTORTD does not currently provide paid software subscriptions, AI accounts, or generation credits.

Students may be eligible for educational discounts or promotional trials from certain software providers.

Performance Expectations

We value both creative quality and measurable improvement.

The selected freelancer will be expected to:

- Consistently deliver high-quality content on schedule.
- Improve content quality through feedback and experimentation.
- Apply organic growth and Instagram SEO best practices.
- Track relevant performance indicators and share weekly observations.
- Help strengthen brand awareness and attract relevant audiences.

Viral content, follower counts, website clicks, and sales are not guaranteed performance requirements. We value thoughtful, consistent effort and continuous improvement.
