Route Planning & Daily Operations

- Plan and optimize bus routes, schedules, and specific pick-up or drop-off stops to reduce travel time and fuel waste.
- Coordinate daily movement of buses, drivers, and attendants.
- Handle real-time transit issues, route delays, vehicle breakdowns, or emergency responses.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure total compliance with RTO (Regional Transport Office) regulations, vehicle fitness certifications, insurance, PUC, and permits.
- Monitor student safety during boarding, travel, and de-boarding at school premises.
- Conduct periodic safety mock drills and vehicle safety audits.

Staff & Fleet Management

- Supervise drivers, bus conductors, and attendants, ensuring proper uniforms and skilled conduct in coordination with the Transport Head.




- Organize training sessions for staff regarding child safety, defensive driving, and emergency handling.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs, and fuel consumption records.

Communication & Administration

- Serve as the primary contact point for parent inquiries, feedback, or complaints regarding bus timings and routes.
- Maintain updated management information system (MIS) reports, attendance logs, and transport expense records.
