About the Role

Vibrant Bearings & Industrial Products is looking for a proactive and resourceful Purchase Executive to specialize in finding reliable sources for non-regular, hard-to-find, and urgent industrial products.

The primary responsibility will be to identify new suppliers, explore alternate sources, obtain competitive quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure the required products are sourced within the required price, quality, and delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, excellent supplier-searching skills, and the ability to find products that are not readily available through regular vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Source non-regular, hard-to-find, obsolete, urgent, and special industrial products as per customer requirements.
- Identify and develop recent suppliers, distributors, dealers, stockists, importers, and manufacturers across India and other relevant markets.
- Search for alternate sources when products are unavailable with existing vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations based on price, availability, brand, quality, lead time, and payment terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Verify product specifications, part numbers, brands, quantities, and technical requirements before finalizing purchases.
- Maintain an updated database of new and alternate suppliers, including product range and contact details.
- Follow up with suppliers for availability, quotations, delivery commitments, dispatches, and pending orders.




- Coordinate with the sales team to understand urgent and special customer requirements and provide sourcing solutions quickly.
- Evaluate supplier reliability, product availability, pricing, and service levels.
- Develop multiple sources for critical products to reduce dependency on a single supplier.
- Coordinate with accounts and logistics teams regarding purchase documentation, payments, dispatches, and delivery.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, purchases, supplier details, and commercial negotiations.
- Support management in identifying new products, new markets, and better sourcing opportunities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Commerce, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Sourcing, Vendor Development, or Industrial Products Trading.
- Experience in sourcing bearings, engineering components, industrial products, machinery parts, or MRO products will be an advantage.
- Strong ability to search, identify, and develop new suppliers.
- Good knowledge of online sourcing platforms, supplier directories, and market research.
- Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, and ERP/Tally.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent and time-sensitive requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
