About the Role

Antony Gomez Talent Solutions, a new division of Antony Gomez Associates, is launching a training practice in Kollam designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world accounting work.

The programme will help B.Com graduates become company-ready through practical exposure to complete company books, GST and taxation work, AI-integrated learning, live projects, and structured placement support.

We are looking for an experienced accounting qualified to lead the programme from day one.

This is not a conventional teaching role. You will be the senior accounting professional in the room — bringing your industry experience into the classroom, supervising practical work, reviewing student performance, and helping build the programme as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver the 12-week practical accounting curriculum covering:

· Accounting fundamentals

· GST

· TDS

· Income Tax

· Payroll

· Tally

· MS Excel

2. Guide students through practical projects using complete company files.

3. Supervise bookkeeping, reconciliations, GST returns, TDS, finalization, and related accounting work.

4. Review, correct, and provide feedback on student work.

5. Assess student performance and sign off on practical work portfolios.

6. Conduct batch selection and student screening along with the management team.

7. Maintain practical training standards and ensure students meet programme requirements.

8. Contribute to improving and developing the curriculum as the programme evolves.

9. Prepare students for interviews and help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace requirements.

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.

· Strong practical knowledge of GST and TDS, including return filing and reconciliation.

· Experience handling GSTR-2B reconciliation and GST-related notices.





· Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

· Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, taxation, payroll, and finalization.

· Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly in Malayalam and English.

· Ability to connect accounting theory with real workplace situations.

· Patient and practical approach to mentoring students.

· Willingness to let students work through problems while providing the right guidance rather than simply giving them the answers.

· CA, CMA, or semi-qualified professionals are welcome, but practical industry experience is more important than qualifications.

What We Offer

· Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience.

· Day shift with a predictable Monday–Saturday schedule.

· A genuine leadership role with responsibility for the batch, training standards, and student outcomes.

· This is the first senior appointment in a new business division backed by an established accounting and advisory firm.

· Opportunity to grow into an Academy Head role as additional batches and shifts are introduced.
