Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Local Purchase Executive to manage local procurement activities for our electronics manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining purchase documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to meet production requirements.

Job Location: Vasai, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day local purchase activities for electronic components, electrical items, mechanical parts, consumables, packaging materials, tools, and other production-related requirements.

2. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and service.

3. Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.

4. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

5. Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays and shortages.

6. Coordinate with suppliers for order confirmation, dispatch, delivery schedules, and pending supplies.

7. Follow up on material deliveries and maintain accurate records of open/closed purchase orders.

8. Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance,



and other departments regarding material requirements.

9. Verify supplier quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and other relevant purchase documents.

10. Support vendor development and periodically evaluate supplier performance.

11. Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

12. Handle urgent/local procurement requirements and arrange materials on priority whenever required.

13. Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies, approved specifications, and quality requirements.

14. Maintain proper documentation and records related to vendors, quotations, POs, and purchases.

15. Resolve issues related to shortages, quality discrepancies, delayed deliveries, and incorrect supplies in coordination with relevant teams.

Required Skills:

* Good knowledge of local procurement and vendor management.

* Experience in purchasing materials for an electronics/electrical manufacturing setting will be preferred.

* Good negotiation and communication skills.

* Ability to source materials quickly from local markets and suppliers.

* Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
