Role summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Teamcenter PLM Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of application administration, system architecture, and engineering data management to ensure high availability, data security, and seamless platform performance across development, testing, and production environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering, IT infrastructure, DevOps, and global business units to drive system enhancements and streamline lifecycle processes.

What you will do:

System Installation & Maintenance • Deploy and maintain Teamcenter architecture profiles, including 2-Tier, 4-Tier, Rich Archive Client (RAC), and Active Workspace (AWC) environments. • Execute version upgrades, technical migrations, system patches, and hotfix rollouts across distributed infrastructures. • Utilize Deployment Center and automation scripting to manage configurations and server deployments efficiently.

Data Modelling & Configuration • Extend and configure the Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE)



data model and manage change tracking over version controls. • Design and manage Enterprise Process Management (EPM) workflow templates, query configurations (Query Builder), and organizational schemas. • Administer key modules such as Structure Manager, Access Manager, Workflow Designer, and Classification systems.

Security, Users, & Support • Manage users, groups, project permissions, roles, and strict access control lists (ACLs) to enforce corporate data security. • Configure platform security integrations including Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols and SSL certificates. • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, resolving complex application bugs, system failures, and user issues. • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on structural issues and interface with Siemens GTAC (Global Technical Access Center) for advanced engineering escalations.

Performance Monitoring & Integrations • Optimize server performance, tuning parameters across the File Management System (FMS), Dispatcher services, indexing mechanisms, and relational databases. • Maintain CAD integrations (SolidWorks) and enterprise system links like Salesforce, ERP. • Oversee backup procedures and validate disaster recovery frameworks to protect critical engineering assets • Stylesheets customization

What we would like you to have done:

Technical Background • Experience Level: 4 to 8+ years of dedicated Siemens Teamcenter administration experience in enterprise-scale environments. • Architecture Mastery: Deep technical knowledge of Teamcenter 4-Tier distributed architecture, Active Workspace Gateway, and volume management. • Infrastructure Skills:



Systems administration familiarity across both Windows and Linux OS environments. • Database & Web Services: Capability to write SQL queries for validation, along with familiarity with web servers like Apache. • DevOps Focus: Experience implementing continuous integration pipelines (CI/CD) and system monitoring tools is highly preferred.

Soft Skills & Education • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field. • Communication: Strong interpersonal and English language communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional and global teams. • Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical and diagnostic capabilities for high-pressure troubleshooting scenarios.
