TGT English (Grades VI-XII)

ROLE PURPOSE
Deliver high-quality English language instruction to students in grades VI-XII at Ramagya School - N. Extension, translating curriculum standards into measurable student learning outcomes through structured lesson planning, evidence-based pedagogical practices, and consistent assessment mechanisms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and implement structured weekly lesson plans incorporating mind mapping and visual learning strategies aligned to CBSE curriculum standards
2. Deliver 22-25 contact hours per week across assigned grade levels (VI-XII) with 100% curriculum coverage
3. Administer formative assessments weekly, unit assessments bi-weekly, and summative evaluations quarterly with documented analysis and student feedback
4. Maintain digital records of all assessments, attendance, and student progress in school ERP systems with timely data entry
5. Conduct parent-teacher interactions at minimum quarterly intervals with documented communication outcomes and student performance updates
6. Monitor and document classroom engagement metrics, participation records, and behavioral observations with evidence-based interventions
7. Execute assigned co-curricular responsibilities with tracked student participation, attendance records, and measurable learning outputs
8. Maintain classroom discipline standards through consistent behavior management practices with documented incident records
9. Contribute to institutional academic performance by achieving target student learning outcomes across all assigned classes
10. Collaborate with academic team for curriculum review, assessment design, and pedagogical improvement initiatives

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Student learning outcome achievement measured through formative and summative assessment scores against institutional benchmarks

100% curriculum coverage completion as per prescribed CBSE syllabus with documented lesson completion records
3. Assessment administration frequency compliance: weekly formative, bi-weekly unit, quarterly summative with documented results
4. Parent communication touchpoints maintained at minimum quarterly intervals with documented interaction records and outcome notes
5. Classroom discipline compliance measured through behavior management records and documented interventions
6. Co-curricular activity execution with tracked student participation rates and measurable learning output metrics
7. Timely submission of digital records in school ERP system with 100% data accuracy
8. Student attendance and engagement monitoring with documented intervention records for at-risk students

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Bachelor of Arts (English) or Bachelor of Science with English as a subject.
Preferred: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Arts with English Honours
Min Experience: 2 years of secondary school English teaching experience yrs

Must Have: CBSE curriculum knowledge and alignment with learning outcomes framework, English language proficiency with solid communication skills (written and spoken), Classroom management and student discipline protocols, Assessment design and analysis skills, Digital literacy and school ERP system proficiency, Lesson planning and instructional delivery, Parent communication and stakeholder engagement, Time management and organizational skills

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
