Job Description: Academic Branch Counsellor

- Counsel students and parents on the various academic programs offered by ICFAI University.
- Clarify queries and doubts raised by students and parents regarding programs, eligibility, fees, admission process, and other relevant details.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, cold calling, and ensure timely follow-up with prospective students.
- Contact leads and provide detailed information about ICFAI University programs with the objective of generating walk-ins and admissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students and parents until the successful completion of the admission process.
- Generate references and leads through existing students, alumni, parents, and other relevant sources.
- Visit schools, colleges, and educational institutions to identify business opportunities and generate student leads.
- Meet the concerned authorities of colleges/institutions and seek approvals for conducting seminars, presentations, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with colleges and institutions for scheduling and conducting presentations.
- Collect student/contact data during college visits, presentations, seminars, and other promotional activities.
- Maintain and update the lead database and ensure systematic follow-up on all collected data/leads.




- Achieve assigned individual admission and enrollment targets within the stipulated timelines.
- Participate in promotional activities, seminars, counselling sessions, education fairs, and other student engagement activities as required.
- Increasing student enrolments.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent convincing, counselling, and presentation skills.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion abilities.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Active, energetic, and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Comfortable with cold calling, field visits, college visits, and student counselling.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, parents, colleges, and educational institutions.
- Willingness to travel locally for college visits, presentations, and lead-generation activities.
