SALARY IS OF 12 HOURS DUTY

The Production Engineer (Plastic Injection Molding) will oversee daily shop-floor production operations, machine efficiency, process optimization, and quality control across plastic injection molding lines. This role is responsible for setting and fine-tuning machine parameters, minimizing cycle times and rejection rates, managing shift operators, and ensuring continuous production output according to planned delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities 1. Process Parameter & Machine Optimization Parameter Setting: Establish, validate, and document optimal process parameters (injection pressure, holding pressure, barrel temperatures, cooling times, screw speed, and back pressure) for various engineering and commodity thermoplastics (e.g., PP, ABS, PC, Nylon/PA, POM). Cycle Time Reduction: Continuously analyze and optimize molding cycles to maximize machine utilization without compromising part quality or mold integrity. Trial Runs: Lead recent mold trials (T0, T1, T2), establish initial process parameters, generate mold trial reports, and document baseline settings for mass production. 2. Shop Floor Operations & Auxiliary Management Production Execution: Manage shift-wise production schedules to hit daily quantity targets while maintaining Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Auxiliary Equipment Handling: Supervise the operation and maintenance of auxiliary units including mold temperature controllers (MTCs), hopper dryers/dehumidifiers, industrial chillers, hot runner controllers, and auto-loaders. Raw Material Control: Ensure correct material handling,



masterbatch blending ratios, regrind utilization limits, and pre-drying parameters according to raw material specifications.

3. Defect Analysis & Quality Assurance Troubleshooting: Identify root causes and rapidly resolve common injection molding defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, silver streaks, weld lines, burn marks, and jetting. Scrap Reduction: Drive active shop-floor measures to keep rejection rates within the target limit (<1.5%). Quality Compliance: Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) engineers to perform regular line inspections, visual checks, and dimensional verification against technical drawings.

4. Mold & Equipment Maintenance Mold Setup Oversight: Supervise proper mold mounting, clamping, hydraulic/ejection setup, and line connection (water, oil, hot runner). Preventive Maintenance: Conduct basic machine autonomous maintenance, monitor hydraulic oil levels, check heater band functionality, and inspect mold cavity/core surfaces for wear or damage. Safety Protocols: Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), machine safety interlocks, and 5S workplace discipline across all molding bays.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month

- Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

- Plastics injection moulding: 7 years (Preferred)
- Production planning: 7 years (Preferred)
