IT Manager – Web Platforms & Infrastructure

We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager to manage, maintain and continuously improve our digital web platforms:

The candidate should be technically strong in website development, server management, hosting, domains, databases, security and cloud infrastructure and should be capable of independently troubleshooting critical website issues.

Key Responsibilities Website Management

- Manage and maintain company web platforms
- Handle new features, bug fixes and website enhancements.
- Troubleshoot frontend, backend, database and API issues.
- Maintain school listings, user accounts, forms, dashboards and dynamic website functionality.
- Ensure both websites are quick, stable, mobile-friendly and SEO-friendly.
- Coordinate website releases and deployments.

Domain, Server & Hosting

- Manage domains, DNS records, subdomains and renewals.
- Manage hosting/server environments including Hostinger/cPanel/VPS/cloud servers.
- Configure and renew SSL certificates.
- Manage Apache/Nginx configurations.
- Monitor server CPU, RAM, storage and website uptime.
- Handle server migrations and hosting upgrades when required.

Cloud & Storage

- Manage AWS S3 or similar cloud storage.
- Maintain image, video and document storage.
- Manage backups and disaster recovery.
- Optimize cloud usage and storage costs.

Database Management

- Manage MySQL/MariaDB databases.
- Database backup, restore and optimization.
- Troubleshoot slow queries and database errors.
- Maintain database security and access permissions.

Security

- Monitor websites for vulnerabilities, malware and unauthorized access.
- Maintain server, application and database security.
- Manage firewall, SSL, user permissions and backups.
- Ensure regular software/framework/security updates.
- Maintain secure access credentials and documentation.

Analytics & Technical SEO

- Manage and troubleshoot:
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Search Console




- Handle redirects, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical URLs and schema.
- Work with the SEO team on Core Web Vitals and technical SEO issues.
- Monitor 404 errors, crawl problems and website performance.

Development & Version Control

- Maintain clean source code and documentation.
- Manage code using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Maintain development, staging and production environments.
- Ensure proper testing before pushing changes live.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience in:

- PHP/Laravel web development
- Website/server administration
- Hosting and cloud infrastructure
- Database management
- Production website troubleshooting

Experience managing high-traffic portals, education platforms, marketplaces or content websites will be preferred.

Key Expectations:

The person should be able to take complete technical ownership of web platforms.

When a website goes down, a page breaks, server usage increases, SSL expires, an API fails, database slows down or deployment causes an issue, the IT Manager should be capable of identifying the problem and resolving it quickly.

The role requires someone who can both manage the technology and work hands-on with the code.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
