- Supervise and manage overall nursing operations of the hospital ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Ensure quality nursing care is delivered to all patients in accordance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
- Prepare and manage nursing duty rosters, shift allocations, and manpower planning.
- Monitor nursing staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and qualified conduct.
- Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patient care quality and staff performance.
- Ensure proper implementation of infection control practices and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and other departments for effective patient care management.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing records, medication charts, consent forms, and patient files.
- Train, mentor, and guide nursing staff on clinical protocols, emergency handling, and NABH requirements.
- Organize induction training and continuous nursing education programs for staff development.
- Monitor medication administration practices and ensure adherence to patient safety protocols.
- Handle patient complaints related to nursing services and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of nursing supplies, consumables, and equipment.
- Coordinate with HR department for recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, and retention of nursing staff.
- Participate actively in NABH audits, internal audits, quality indicators, and hospital accreditation activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory regulations, and nursing council guidelines.
- Prepare departmental reports including census reports, incident reports, staffing reports, and audit findings.
- Monitor emergency preparedness of nursing teams including crash cart management and code blue response.
- Promote teamwork, ethical practices, patient-centered care, and professional behavior among nursing staff.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in nursing services and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Pay: Up to ₹90,000.00 per month
