About the Role

Malus Robotics is looking for a skilled PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI development, machine automation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and integration of industrial automation systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of PLC programming and be comfortable working with electrical control panels, sensors, VFDs, servo systems, HMI and industrial communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Program and configure HMI systems.
- Work with PLCs such as Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Omron.
- Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and Servo Drives.
- Develop machine sequences, interlocks, alarms and safety logic.
- Configure industrial communication such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.
- Interface PLCs with sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic systems and other automation equipment.
- Read and understand electrical/control panel drawings.
- Participate in machine testing, debugging and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, drive, sensor and communication-related problems.
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites when required.
- Prepare PLC/HMI documentation, I/O lists and related technical documents.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and robotics teams during machine development.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major PLC platform.




- Good knowledge of Ladder Logic and preferably Structured Text.
- Experience with HMI programming.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors and motion control.
- Understanding of industrial sensors and actuators.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for machine installation and commissioning.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates who can actually develop and troubleshoot PLC programs independently, not only candidates with theoretical PLC knowledge.

Candidates with hands-on commissioning and machine automation experience will be given preference.
