Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, handling invoices, entries, reconciliations, GST-related documentation, and assisting the senior accounts team with routine financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Record purchase, sales, receipt, and payment transactions.
- Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
- Handle bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Assist with GST-related data, documentation, and reconciliations.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments when required.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing and payment-related queries.
- Support the senior accountant in regular accounting and compliance activities.

Requirements





- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting preferred.
- Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge may also be considered.
- Valuable knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and accounting procedures.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage routine accounting work independently.
