JOB DESCRIPTION O&M; Coordinator – Bangalore

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced O&M; Coordinator to coordinate and monitor Operations & Maintenance activities for multiple project sites, with Bangalore as the primary work location.

The role will involve coordinating with Site In-Charges, Engineers, Operators, Maintenance Teams, Clients, Vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day O&M; activities for projects primarily based in Bangalore.
- Coordinate with site teams and monitor operational performance.
- Coordinate manpower deployment, attendance, shift schedules and site requirements.
- Follow up on manpower requirements and replacements with the HR team.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Track equipment breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate availability of spares, chemicals, consumables, PPE and other materials.
- Monitor site operational reports and follow up on pending issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly O&M; reports for management.
- Coordinate with clients regarding operational requirements, complaints and service issues.
- Participate in client meetings and site reviews.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, HR, Finance and Maintenance teams as required.
- Ensure proper maintenance of operational, maintenance and compliance records.
- Monitor implementation of SOPs, safety procedures and quality standards.




- Support internal, client and statutory inspections/audits.
- Escalate major operational, manpower, maintenance and safety issues to the O&M; Manager/Project Manager.
- Visit project sites across Karnataka whenever required.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant O&M;/project coordination experience preferred.

Experience

3–6 years of experience in O&M; coordination, preferably in:

- ETP/STP
- MEE/ZLD
- Wastewater treatment
- Industrial utilities
- Manufacturing plants
- Plant Operations & Maintenance

Required Skills

- Robust coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Manpower and site coordination.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance.
- Good MS Excel and MS Office skills.
- Strong reporting and documentation ability.
- Problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to travel to Karnataka project sites when required.

Candidate Preference

Candidates with experience in ETP/STP/MEE/ZLD, industrial wastewater treatment or plant O&M; will be preferred.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹880,000.00 per year
