A Fiber Laser Welding Machine Operator (w/c stands for weld cell or welder/cutter) sets up, runs, and maintains fiber laser welding systems to join metal parts accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation: Run a handheld or automated fiber laser welding machine safely and efficiently.
- Parameter Setup: Adjust laser power, welding speed, wire-feed rate, focus, and shielding-gas flow based on material type and thickness.
- Part Preparation: Clean, align, and fit metal components (such as stainless steel, mild steel, or aluminum) before welding.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished welds visually and dimensionally for penetration, bead quality, spatter, or cracks.
- Maintenance: Clean and replace consumables like nozzles, protective lenses, and welding wire.
- Safety Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)



and follow strict laser safety protocols.

Job Requirements

- Education: ITI, High School Diploma, or a technical trade certificate in welding, fabrication, or mechanical fields.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication or operating laser welding equipment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and use basic measuring tools like calipers.
- Physical Demands: Valuable hand-eye coordination and the ability to stand for long periods and lift materials (up to 30 lbs).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
