Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Service Engineer with a robust combination of technical knowledge, industrial sales experience, and customer-handling skills. The candidate will be responsible for promoting technical products, providing pre-sales and post-sales support, conducting equipment demonstrations, troubleshooting installed equipment, and developing recent business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct product demonstrations and trial installations for customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment, products, and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support customer requirements and achieve sales targets.
- Visit prospective customers and present product features, benefits, pricing, and applications.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations for customers and prospects.
- Develop sales plans and identify current customers and market opportunities.
- Prepare and respond to technical/commercial proposals and customer enquiries.
- Prepare sales/service contracts and follow up for order closure and delivery.
- Sell technically complex industrial equipment and provide technical support for installation and operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with installed equipment.
- Provide technical and non-technical support related to equipment operation, maintenance, and applications.




- Recommend suitable machinery/material improvements to customers to improve productivity or reduce costs.
- Maintain regular communication and relationships with existing customers.
- Identify resale and repeat business opportunities.
- Maintain sales forecasts, customer records, reports, and transaction details.
- Provide technical inputs for the development of customized machinery.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and service teams for customer requirements and technical issues.
- Train team members/customers on equipment applications and technologies.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, product training, and industry events.
- Keep updated with industry trends, competitors, emerging technologies, and new product developments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to products and services.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Industrial Sales & Marketing and Technical Sales.
- Good understanding of engineering products, machinery, and industrial applications.
- Robust product demonstration and presentation skills.
- Good troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Solid customer relationship and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of English communication.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, machinery, and equipment requirements.
- Basic understanding of production processes, materials, quality,



and manufacturing.
- Ability to perform basic technical calculations related to weight, load, torque, etc.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and sales-closing skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, installations, and service support.

Education & Experience

- Engineering Graduate in Mechanical / Mechatronics.
- 4–8 years of experience in Sales & Service / Technical Sales, preferably in industrial machinery or engineering products.
- Candidates with relevant industrial product and machinery knowledge will be preferred.
