Job Description

Berkeley Hyundai is looking for a customer-oriented and technically knowledgeable Automobile Service Advisor to join our Service Department. The candidate will act as a key link between customers and the workshop team, ensuring smooth service operations, accurate communication, timely repairs, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare accurate job cards.
- Explain required services, repairs, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repair and service jobs.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding vehicle repair status.
- Prepare service estimates and obtain necessary customer approvals.
- Ensure additional repair requirements are communicated and approved before work.
- Monitor job progress and ensure vehicles are delivered within committed timelines.
- Conduct final checks and explain completed work and billing to customers.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service-related concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with spare parts and other departments for timely availability of parts.
- Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
- Follow Hyundai service processes,



quality standards, and dealership guidelines.
- Achieve assigned customer satisfaction, revenue, and service targets.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership/workshop.
- Robust knowledge of automobile servicing, maintenance, and basic vehicle systems.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with workshop management systems.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Experience with an authorized automobile dealership will be preferred.
