Job Description

Bright Health Alliance is hiring an experienced Insurance Verification Executive with hands-on experience in US Healthcare Insurance Verification, Eligibility & Benefits (E&B;).

The candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, authorization requirements, and other payer-related information before services are rendered.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through payer portals and insurance calls.
- Confirm active coverage, effective dates, and termination dates.
- Verify copay, deductible, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket details.
- Check plan type, network status, and coverage limitations.
- Verify authorization and referral requirements.
- Confirm benefits for specific procedures and services when required.
- Contact US insurance companies for detailed benefit information.
- Update accurate insurance verification details in the practice management/EHR system.




- Identify insurance discrepancies and communicate them to the appropriate team.
- Maintain proper documentation of verification details and reference numbers.
- Complete assigned verification cases within defined turnaround times.
- Coordinate with front desk, billing, and authorization teams when required.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1+ year of experience in US Healthcare Insurance Verification.
- Robust knowledge of Eligibility & Benefits Verification.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
- Understanding of copay, deductible, coinsurance, authorization, referrals, and network benefits.
- Experience using insurance payer portals and calling US insurance companies.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple verification cases.
