Job Title: Electronics Technician

Experience: 3–5 Years

Department: R&D; / Production – Electronics

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Technician with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly, soldering, cable fabrication, hardware testing, module-level integration, quality assurance, and inventory management. The candidate will support the assembly, testing, integration, and quality inspection of electronic modules and products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electronics Assembly & Soldering

- Perform SMD and Through-Hole (THT) soldering of electronic components.
- Assemble PCBs and electronic modules as per BOMs, drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect solder joints for proper workmanship, component orientation, and placement.
- Identify and rectify soldering defects such as dry solder, solder bridges, and insufficient solder.

2. Component Preparation & BOM Kitting

- Prepare and arrange electronic components according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform component identification, counting, verification, and kitting before assembly.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, specifications, and component values against the BOM.
- Coordinate with stores/inventory for component availability and shortages.

3. Basic Hardware Testing

- Perform basic hardware testing and troubleshooting of PCBs and electronic modules.
- Use basic test equipment such as Digital Multimeter (DMM), power supply, and other test instruments.
- Conduct continuity, voltage, resistance, and basic functional checks.
- Identify faulty components, wiring issues, soldering defects, and assembly-related problems.

4. Cable Fabrication

- Perform cable and wire-harness fabrication according to drawings and wiring requirements.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, termination,



labeling, and continuity testing.
- Ensure proper routing, insulation, connector assembly, and workmanship.

5. Conformal Coating & Potting

- Perform conformal coating and potting operations as per defined process requirements.
- Handle and apply coating/potting materials safely and correctly.
- Ensure proper coverage, masking, curing, and finishing of electronic assemblies.
- Follow the defined 4-potting technique and process instructions wherever applicable.

6. Module-Level Integration

- Perform module-level integration of PCBs, cables, connectors, mechanical components, and electronic sub-assemblies.
- Follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, integration procedures, and engineering instructions.
- Verify connectors, interfaces, mounting, wiring, and component orientation during integration.
- Support engineers during prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and product integration.

7. Quality Assurance

- Conduct visual and workmanship inspections at various stages of assembly.
- Ensure compliance with defined quality standards, assembly procedures, and inspection criteria.
- Record and report defects, rework requirements, and non-conformities.
- Follow ESD precautions and safe handling practices for sensitive electronic components.

8. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate records of electronic components, consumables, cables, connectors, and assembly materials.
- Support inventory tracking, stock verification, and material issuance.
- Report shortages,



excess materials, damaged components, and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of electronic components and materials.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SMD and Through-Hole soldering.
- Knowledge of electronic component identification and PCB assembly.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware testing.
- Experience in cable fabrication and wire-harness assembly.
- Knowledge of conformal coating and potting processes.
- Experience in module-level electronic integration.
- Knowledge of BOM reading and component kitting.
- Basic troubleshooting and fault identification skills.
- Good understanding of quality inspection and ESD practices.
- Basic inventory and material management skills.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in electronics assembly, production, testing, or R&D; environments.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with defence electronics, embedded systems, industrial electronics, or high-reliability electronic products.
- Experience in prototype development, low-volume production, or R&D; environments.
- Familiarity with ESD-controlled work environments and quality documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
