Position: Manager / Assistant Manager – OEM Marketing

Experience: 6–7 years of relevant experience in Marketing / Business Development / OEM Marketing in the automotive or auto ancillary industry.

Qualification: B.Tech + MBA (Marketing)

CTC: ₹8–9 LPA (approx.)

Role Purpose

To manage and develop business relationships with key OEM customers and drive business growth through effective customer engagement, business development and coordination with internal functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage relationships and regular business interactions with major OEM customers such as Mahindra, Swaraj and other leading automotive OEMs.

* Understand customer requirements, business plans, new product requirements and future sourcing opportunities.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing as well as prospective OEM accounts.

* Coordinate with Design/R&D;, Production, Quality, PPC and Commercial teams for customer requirements and timely execution.

* Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations, commercial discussions and follow-ups for recent business.

* Track customer schedules, development status, trials, approvals and SOP timelines.

* Prepare and maintain customer-wise business plans, sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements in the auto ancillary segment.

* Support new product development and customer approval processes through effective coordination with internal teams.

* Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and maintain strong customer relationships.





* Regularly report business development progress, customer meetings, enquiries, order status and potential business opportunities to management.

Candidate Profile

* Should have direct experience of dealing with major OEM customers, preferably Mahindra, Swaraj or similar customers.

* Strong understanding of OEM business processes, RFQ, commercial negotiations, new product development and customer coordination.

* Should be comfortable interacting with purchase, engineering, quality and other functional teams at OEMs.

* Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management and follow-up skills.

Should possess good commercial understanding and an ability to convert customer interactions into business opportunities.

* Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. – preferably Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering

MBA / PGDM – Marketing

Preferred Background

Candidates currently working with auto component manufacturers / Tier-1 / Tier-2 suppliers and having established exposure to OEM customers will be preferred.
