Job Description:

- We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator to manage maintain secure and optimize the Power BI workplace across the organization
- The ideal candidate should have hands on experience with Power BI Service administration gateway management workspace governance security implementation capacity monitoring and user support

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and manage the Power BI Service environment
- Configure and maintain On Premises Data Gateways
- Manage Power BI workspaces datasets reports dashboards and dataflows
- Implement governance security and compliance policies
- Configure and manage Row Level Security RLS
- Monitor Power BI Premium capacities and optimize performance
- Manage user access licensing and permission controls
- Troubleshoot report refresh failures gateway issues and connectivity problems
- Monitor system health and usage through Power BI Admin Portal
- Collaborate with BI developers data engineers and business stakeholders




- Maintain deployment pipelines and support release management activities
- Create operational documentation administration guides and best practices

Technical Requirements:

- Strong experience with Power BI Administration
- Hands on experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Premium Capacity
- Experience with Power BI Gateway Installation and Management
- Knowledge of Workspace Administration and Governance
- Experience with Azure Active Directory AAD and security management
- Understanding of DAX Data Modeling and Power Query
- Experience in managing Row Level Security RLS
- Knowledge of Power BI REST APIs and automation
- Experience with monitoring auditing and performance tuning
- Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases
