About the Role
JCB Salons is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Salon Manager to lead the operations of our premium salon at Palladium, Lower Parel.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing a premium or high-footfall salon, leading large teams, driving revenue and sales targets, managing client relationships, and ensuring high standards of service and salon operations.
The candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the salon, including business growth, team management, client experience, operational excellence, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities1. Salon Operations
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the salon.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all salon departments and services.
- Monitor appointments, walk-ins, staff availability, service flow, and salon capacity.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational processes, hygiene, grooming, and service standards.
- Ensure the salon is maintained to premium brand standards at all times.
- Coordinate with the Head Office and relevant departments for operational requirements.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective measures.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
- Take ownership of the salon's monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Drive service sales, retail sales, memberships, packages, and other revenue streams.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Analyse revenue, average bill value, customer frequency, service mix, and team productivity.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop strategies to improve revenue, client retention, and repeat business.
- Ensure individual team members achieve their respective business targets.
3. Team Management
- Lead and manage the complete salon team, including stylists, beauticians, therapists, reception/front desk, and support staff.
- Plan staff rosters, shifts, leave schedules, and manpower deployment.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Coach and motivate team members to improve productivity and service quality.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Handle attendance, discipline, grooming, behavioural, and performance-related matters.
- Maintain a positive and professional working environment.
4. Client Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure a premium and personalised customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with regular, premium, and VIP clients.
- Personally handle escalated customer complaints and service concerns.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved professionally and within the required timelines.
- Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive client retention, repeat visits, memberships, packages, and referrals.
- Ensure consistent service standards across all team members.
5. Performance & Business Analysis
- Review salon performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Track revenue, targets, productivity, staff utilisation, client footfall, average bill value, and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare and share regular performance reports with management.
- Identify trends and business opportunities to improve salon performance.
- Work with management on strategies for business growth and profitability.
6. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor professional products, retail products, consumables, and other salon inventory.
- Ensure adequate stock availability for daily operations.
- Monitor product usage and minimise wastage.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams for stock requirements and replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage and usage of salon products.
7. Administration & Compliance
- Ensure proper maintenance of salon records and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, manpower requirements, employee concerns, and other people-related matters.
- Ensure all team members follow grooming, hygiene, and workplace standards.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct within the salon.
8. Marketing & Business Development
- Support local marketing and promotional activities to increase salon footfall.
- Identify opportunities for client acquisition and retention.
- Work with the marketing and management teams on salon-specific campaigns and initiatives.
- Build relationships with local customers, corporates, luxury communities, and potential business partners where required.
Experience & Candidate Profile
- 6–10 years of overall experience in the Salon / Beauty Industry is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience as a Salon Manager, Senior Salon Manager, Assistant Salon Manager, Salon Operations Manager, or equivalent role.
- Candidates must have prior experience managing a premium, luxury,
or high-footfall salon.
- Experience managing a sizeable team of stylists, beauticians, therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
- Strong experience in sales, revenue management, target achievement, client management, and salon operations.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and improve team productivity.
- Experience handling premium and VIP clientele will be highly preferred.
- Experience with salon management software such as Zenoti or similar platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial understanding with a result-oriented approach.
- Candidate should be well-groomed, confident, presentable, and skilled.
Preferred Candidate Background
Preference will be given to candidates currently working or previously working with reputed premium/luxury salon and beauty brands.

Direct salon/beauty industry experience is mandatory. Candidates with only general retail, hospitality, or non-salon management experience will not be preferred.

Role Objective
The Senior Salon Manager will be responsible for end-to-end salon performance, ensuring operational excellence, strong team productivity, exceptional customer experience, and consistent achievement of business and revenue targets at the JCB Salons – Palladium, Lower Parel location.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
