Job Summary
Atom Life is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage the organization’s financial operations, accounting functions, financial planning, compliance, reporting, and internal controls.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, financial analysis, budgeting, working capital management, and business finance. The Finance Manager will work closely with the management and various departments to ensure sound financial control and support informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Planning
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
- Provide management with regular financial analysis and business insights.
- Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improving profitability.
- Support management in strategic financial decision-making.
2. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare management reports, MIS, profitability statements, and financial dashboards.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of bank, customer, vendor, and ledger accounts.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities when required.
- Review GST returns, TDS filings, tax computations, and related documentation.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial regulations.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and financial audits.
- Ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Establish and strengthen financial controls and approval processes.
- Identify control gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Manage working capital effectively.
- Monitor customer collections and credit outstanding.
- Coordinate with sales and commercial teams to improve collection efficiency.
- Monitor vendor payments and optimize payment schedules.
- Ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day business operations.
6. Business & Commercial Finance
- Analyze product, customer, channel, and business profitability.
- Support pricing, margin, discount, and commercial decisions.
- Evaluate financial implications of new business initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Purchase, Operations, and Management teams.
- Provide financial inputs for business expansion and growth plans.
7. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Establish accounting processes, reporting timelines, and accountability.
- Train team members on financial procedures, controls, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical products, distribution, FMCG, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, MIS, cash flow, working capital, and financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
