About Adrex Media School

Adrex Media School is a skill-focused media and marketing institute providing practical, industry-oriented education in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Branding, Content Creation, and Media.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for visuals, understand social media content, and be capable of handling both video shooting and editing.

Freshers with a strong portfolio and practical skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Shoot and edit engaging content for Adrex Media School.
- Create Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, student testimonials, event videos, educational content, and campus content.
- Cover classes, workshops, student activities, events, and other activities at the institute.
- Handle cameras, lighting, microphones, gimbals, and other basic production equipment.
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Add music, sound effects, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, and other creative elements.
- Perform basic colour correction and colour grading.
- Work with the Marketing and Academic teams to understand content requirements.
- Assist in content planning, scripting, shot planning, and pre-production.
- Stay updated with current Instagram, YouTube, and short-form video trends.
- Organize footage, project files, and final video assets.
- Complete assigned content within deadlines.

Requirements





- 0–2 years of experience in videography and/or video editing.
- Freshers with relevant skills, academic projects, internships, or a strong portfolio are welcome.
- Knowledge of camera operation, framing, lighting, and audio.
- Knowledge of at least one professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of social media content and short-form videos.
- Strong visual sense and creativity.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with current content formats.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on-site and cover institute activities when required.
- Portfolio/showreel is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Basic photography skills.
- Experience using a gimbal.
- Knowledge of lighting and audio equipment.
- Understanding of social media trends.
- Ability to create content in Malayalam and English.
