George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. – Maruti Suzuki is looking for an experienced Spare Parts In-Charge for our Kayamkulam branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing spare parts operations, inventory control, procurement, stock accuracy, and coordination with the Service and Body Shop departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day spare parts department operations.
- Ensure timely ordering, receiving, inspection, storage, and issuing of spare parts.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure availability of rapid-moving parts.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock differences.
- Coordinate with Maruti Suzuki and authorized suppliers for parts procurement.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and systematic arrangement of spare parts.
- Issue parts to the Service and Body Shop departments as per approved requirements.
- Monitor parts consumption and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and damaged/incorrect parts.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop/Body Shop teams.
- Monitor parts sales and support achievement of departmental targets.
- Maintain proper documentation, invoices, stock records, and reports.




- Monitor and control obsolete and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and dealership standards.
- Lead and supervise spare parts staff and ensure efficient team performance.
- Prepare regular reports on stock, purchases, sales, shortages, and inventory movement.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the automobile industry, preferably in a spare parts department.
- Strong experience in automobile dealership spare parts operations.
- Good knowledge of automobile spare parts, inventory management, procurement, and stock control.
- Experience in handling spare parts software/DMS or ERP systems.
- Strong team management and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently and achieve departmental targets.

Important Requirement

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per hour
