About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with robust technical expertise in Denodo Data Virtualization Platform. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and development teams to define requirements, design virtualized data solutions, manage product backlog, and drive successful delivery of enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives.

What You'll Do:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, reporting needs, and data requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for Denodo developers and data engineering teams.
- Manage requirement traceability and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Analyze source systems, business rules, data relationships, and reporting requirements.




- Work with architects and technical teams to define logical data models and virtualized data services.
- Support the design and implementation of Denodo-based data virtualization solutions.
- Validate business rules, transformation logic, and data mappings across multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and reporting teams to support enterprise data initiatives.
- Facilitate discussions between business users and technical teams to resolve requirement gaps and dependencies.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and delivery teams.
- Define reporting requirements, KPIs, business metrics, and analytical measures.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and validation activities.
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria, and validation plans.
- Coordinate defect management activities and support issue resolution processes.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, data quality standards, and expected outcomes.
- Assist with dashboard, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Support data governance, data quality, and compliance programs.
- Create training materials, knowledge documents, and user support documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support continuous improvement and enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Analytics-related roles.
- Strong expertise in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, use cases, and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience working with Denodo-based Data Virtualization projects.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data virtualization, and enterprise data architectures.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting business measures, KPIs, metrics, and enterprise data.
- Expertise in gap analysis, business process mapping, and solution validation.
- Strong knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, and execution.
- Valuable understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security,



and availability.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience working with RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and reporting systems.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration frameworks.
- Experience supporting data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Knowledge of reporting and analytics solutions including Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce CRM Analytics, and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business reporting techniques.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Agile project management tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage with business executives, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise data transformation and analytics initiatives is highly desirable.
