Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting, GST calculation and filing, TDS calculation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, reconciliation, and finalisation of accounts for our organisation

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of accounting entries.

Handle GST calculation, GST reconciliation and GST return filing.

Prepare and verify GST workings and ensure timely GST compliance.

Manage GST-related documentation and records.

Handle TDS calculation, deduction and timely payment.

Prepare and maintain TDS-related records and assist with TDS return filing and compliance.

Assist in finalisation of accounts and Balance Sheet.

Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements.

Prepare and monitor Cash Flow statements.

Conduct regular bank, customer, vendor and ledger reconciliations.

Perform ledger scrutiny and identify accounting discrepancies.

Ensure timely statutory compliances, including:

PF – (Provident Fund), ESIC, PT – (Professional Tax), TDS, GST

Other applicable statutory compliances





Work on Tally and ERP/accounting software for accounting and financial transactions.

Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting financial documents.

Coordinate with auditors, consultants and statutory authorities as required.

Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely rectification.

Prepare periodic financial reports and MIS for management.

Support management in accounting, taxation and finance-related activities.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Commerce/Finance or MBA in Finance.

4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Hands-on experience in GST calculation, reconciliation and GST return filing.

Good knowledge of TDS calculation, deduction and compliance.

Good understanding of Balance Sheet finalisation, P&L; and Cash Flow.

Practical knowledge of PF, ESIC and Professional Tax compliance.

Strong knowledge of bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliation.

Hands-on experience with Tally and ERP/accounting software.

Good command of MS Excel.

Robust analytical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to independently handle day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance activities.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates with 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
