ey Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and monitor construction and infrastructure projects from project initiation to final completion and handover.
- Should have practical experience in completing at least one complete project from start to end.
- Review and understand approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work and project requirements before execution.
- Prepare and monitor project execution plans, work schedules, milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks and critical activities.
- Ensure proper coordination between Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and other MEP services.
- Check quantities, measurements, material requirements and work completion at site.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, work quantities and supporting documents before submission for approval.
- Monitor the quality of construction work, materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction defects, deviations and safety concerns.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants for timely resolution of technical and execution-related issues.
- Monitor material procurement, delivery, storage and utilization to avoid wastage and project delays.
- Review BOQs, estimates, rate analysis, variation statements and additional/deviation works.
- Maintain proper project documentation, including drawings, site reports, measurement records, inspection reports and project progress reports.
- Prepare regular MIS and project status reports for management, highlighting progress, delays, risks, costs and pending activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building standards, safety requirements and institutional project specifications.
- Support project planning for renovation, expansion, modification and recent construction works.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification and final handover of completed projects.
- Ensure proper preparation and closure of snag lists, as-built drawings, completion documents and handover records.
- Liaise with statutory authorities, consultants and external agencies wherever required for project-related matters.
- Identify potential project risks and provide practical engineering solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Support management in evaluating technical proposals, contractor performance and project-related decisions.
- Perform any other project/engineering responsibilities assigned by the management.
Mandatory Experience & Eligibility
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project execution/construction.
- Candidate must have hands-on site execution experience.
- Must have successfully completed at least one project from start to finish.
- Experience in institutional, hospital, university, commercial or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
- Strong experience in contractor/vendor coordination and project monitoring.
- Good knowledge of Civil works and MEP coordination.
- Experience in checking BOQ, measurements, contractor bills and project documentation.
- Ability to independently handle site/project responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
