We are looking for a smart, presentable and customer-focused showroom professional to handle sales and customer service for our plywood, laminate, veneer, hardware and interior-building-material products.

The person will be responsible for walk-in customers, architects, interior designers, contractors, carpenters and dealers, from enquiry through order confirmation and coordination with dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Showroom Sales

- Welcome and understand customer requirements.
- Explain product features, specifications, brands and applications.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate within approved pricing limits.
- Convert enquiries into orders.
- Follow up on pending quotations and prospective customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers.

2. Product Knowledge
Should develop good working knowledge of:

- Plywood & blockboard
- Laminates
- Veneer
- MDF / HDF
- PVC boards and related products
- Door and architectural hardware
- Hinges, locks, handles and fittings
- Glass hardware
- Adhesives and accessories

3. Customer Relationship Management

- Handle architects, interior designers, contractors, builders and carpenters.
- Generate referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain customer database and follow-up records.
- Invite key customers to new product launches and promotions.

4. Order & Dispatch Coordination

- Enter confirmed orders accurately.




- Check stock availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams.
- Ensure correct product, size, finish, quantity and price.
- Follow up on delivery commitments.

5. Sales Development

- Identify recent business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with local contractors, carpenters and interior designers.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with inactive customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.

6. Showroom Management

- Maintain product displays and samples.
- Ensure showroom is clean, organized and professionally presented.
- Keep price lists and product catalogues updated.
- Ensure proper display of brands and promotional material.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Hindi and working English.
- Strong sales and negotiation ability.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with Tally/ERP/CRM will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand product specifications and measurements.
- Good follow-up discipline.
- Presentable and professional personality.

Preferred Candidate

Education: Graduate preferred
Experience: 2–5 years in plywood, laminates, hardware, sanitaryware, tiles, building materials, interiors or similar retail/showroom business.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
