About BetterDrones

BetterDrones is a drone technology company working across the Power & Infrastructure sectors. We use Visual, Thermal and LiDAR drone data for inspection, mapping and analysis of critical infrastructure.

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Data & Asset Executive to manage project data and company assets used in drone operations.

The role involves coordinating with Pilots, Project Coordinators, GIS, Inspection and Operations teams to ensure accurate data management and proper asset tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Project Data Management

- Receive, download, verify and organize project data from field teams and pilots.
- Maintain project-wise and transmission-line-wise folder structures.
- Identify missing, incomplete, duplicate or corrupted data and escalate issues.
- Maintain data trackers, backups and proper file naming.
- Assign verified data to the concerned teams and track its status.
- Coordinate with GIS and Inspection teams for data requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of project data.

Asset Management

- Maintain records of company equipment and operational assets.
- Track asset issue, return, transfer and current status.
- Verify asset condition during issue and return.
- Follow up on missing, damaged or unreturned assets.
- Maintain asset registers and conduct periodic asset verification.
- Ensure proper documentation and accountability of company assets.

Required Skills





- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong data organization and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of files and folders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs and identify/escalate issues.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Basic knowledge of GIS, drone survey or inspection data is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in Geography, GIS, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, IT, Data Management, Engineering or a related field.

Candidates with experience in GIS, drone operations, survey/inspection data, project data management or asset management will be preferred.

Freshers with strong organizational and data-management skills can also apply.
