Job Description

Mikan is looking for an HVAC Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience to join our Nagercoil office. The role involves performing HVAC calculations, preparing drawings and providing technical support to BIM modellers.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform heating and cooling load calculations.
- Carry out HVAC equipment selection and duct sizing.
- Prepare and revise HVAC drawings, layouts and design documentation.
- Provide design inputs and technical guidance to BIM modellers.
- Review HVAC models for alignment with drawings and design requirements.
- Resolve design and modelling queries in coordination with the project team.
- Coordinate HVAC systems with other building services.




- Follow applicable HVAC design standards and project specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

- Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant HVAC design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of HVAC calculations, drawings and design standards.
- Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
