About the Role

Hope College Training is looking for a confident and motivated Counsellor to guide students and prospective candidates regarding healthcare training programs and career opportunities.

The Counsellor will be responsible for understanding students' educational backgrounds and career interests, explaining suitable healthcare courses, handling enquiries, following up with leads, and supporting students through the admission and enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and candidates regarding healthcare training programs and courses.
- Understand students' educational background, career goals, interests, and requirements.
- Explain course details, eligibility, duration, fees, training structure, and career opportunities.
- Provide information about healthcare-related training and career pathways.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on generated leads.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Convert enquiries and leads into admissions through effective counseling and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.




- Coordinate with academic/training teams for student enrollment and onboarding.
- Assist students with the admission and documentation process.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and parents.
- Handle student queries and provide appropriate information regarding courses and training.
- Participate in seminars, career counseling sessions, student events, and promotional activities when required.
- Stay updated about healthcare courses, training programs, eligibility requirements, and career opportunities offered by the organization.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–4 years of experience in counseling, admission counseling, education sales, healthcare training, tele-counselling, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counseling, convincing, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and interacting with students/candidates.
- Strong follow-up and lead-management skills.
- Ability to explain courses and career opportunities clearly.
- Target-oriented and motivated toward admissions and conversions.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
