The COE Lead / Senior Manager – RCM Operations is responsible for leading end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations for an assigned portfolio of US healthcare clients. The role is accountable for achieving client SLAs, operational KPIs, financial performance, quality and compliance standards while driving process excellence, cost optimization, automation and continuous improvement. The position also leads and develops high-performing RCM teams, manages senior client relationships and supports business growth through strong operational and commercial leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end RCM operations for an assigned portfolio of US healthcare providers, including hospitals/health systems, physician practices and other healthcare entities, ensuring achievement of client SLAs, operational KPIs, productivity,



quality and financial targets across the revenue cycle.
- Drive RCM performance across diverse healthcare settings by developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with the specific requirements of hospital, physician and healthcare provider environments, payer mix, reimbursement models and client-specific workflows.
- Drive operational excellence and standardization across the CoE by establishing scalable RCM processes, SOPs, controls and performance management frameworks. Monitor key RCM metrics, identify operational gaps and bottlenecks, and lead corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage financial and commercial performance through effective capacity planning, workforce utilization, productivity management, FTE optimization and cost-to-serve management. Identify opportunities to improve collections, reduce A/R, minimize denials and strengthen overall portfolio margins.
- Ensure quality, compliance and risk management across healthcare operations, maintaining adherence to HIPAA, CMS, payer-specific requirements and applicable US healthcare regulations. Ensure appropriate controls for PHI, data security, audit readiness and quality assurance.
- Lead technology, automation and process transformation initiatives by partnering with Solutions and technology teams to identify opportunities across the RCM lifecycle, provide healthcare and RCM domain expertise, support solution implementation and drive adoption across operations.
- Own client relationships and healthcare operations governance by serving as the key operational contact for assigned clients. Establish strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, understand business and operational requirements, lead performance reviews and proactively manage escalations, risks and improvement plans.
- Build and lead high-performing RCM teams by developing managers and operational leaders, strengthening healthcare domain capability, coaching teams on client and process requirements, and creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and client-focused delivery.
- Support business growth and portfolio expansion by partnering with Sales and Client Success teams on current healthcare opportunities, transitions and expansions, providing RCM expertise, operational assessments,



staffing estimates, transition plans and delivery insights.

Qualifications/Criteria:

- 12+ years of experience in US healthcare RCM/business operations, including 4+ years in a senior management or leadership capacity and significant experience managing offshore RCM operations.

- Proven experience managing RCM operations for US healthcare providers, with strong exposure to hospitals/health systems, physician practices, ED/HM and other healthcare provider environments.

- Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem, including provider operations, payer-provider relationships, reimbursement methodologies, payer mix and healthcare revenue cycle processes.

- Extensive hands-on knowledge across the end-to-end RCM lifecycle, including patient access, eligibility and authorization, charge capture, coding, claims, billing, A/R, denials, appeals, payment posting and related processes.

- Demonstrated experience managing RCM performance across different healthcare specialties, provider models and client environments, with the ability to adapt operational strategies based on client and business requirements.

- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and managed-care payer environments, including their impact on reimbursement, claims, denials and A/R performance.

- Proven track record of improving key RCM outcomes such as cash collections, Days in A/R, denial rates, net collection rate, first-pass resolution, A/R aging and overall revenue cycle performance.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in capacity planning, workforce optimization, productivity, cost-to-serve, FTE management and portfolio profitability.

- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CMS requirements, PHI protection, healthcare compliance, quality management and risk controls.

- Experience working with EHR/EMR, practice management, billing, clearinghouse, workflow and RCM technology platforms, with an understanding of how technology and automation can improve healthcare revenue cycle outcomes.

- Proven ability to lead large, geographically distributed RCM teams, develop managers and build strong operational leadership pipelines.

- Strong client-facing and executive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare providers, senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification required; a Master’s degree in Business Management or a related field is an advantage.

- Lean/Six Sigma and PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
