MLRO & Compliance Advisor

Lead Compliance Excellence Within a Growing Professional Services Workplace

We are supporting a well-established professional services organisation in the search for an experienced MLRO & Compliance Advisor to oversee its AML/CFT and regulatory compliance framework.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a broad compliance function that combines AML/CFT leadership, regulatory oversight and day-to-day advisory support. The successful candidate will work closely with management and client-facing teams, helping the business maintain strong compliance standards while supporting efficient and commercially sound client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary compliance contact for regulatory authorities.
- Lead AML/CFT processes, investigations and reporting obligations.
- Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures and risk assessment frameworks.
- Review customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence documentation.
- Oversee client monitoring, screening and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance on AML/CFT requirements and emerging regulatory obligations.




- Coordinate regulatory submissions and inspections.
- Deliver compliance reporting and training initiatives.
- Support ongoing improvements to the organisation's compliance framework.

What We're Looking For

- Degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of AML/CFT or regulatory compliance experience within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience within a CSP, financial institution, accounting firm, audit firm, trustee or similar regulated entity.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical, risk-based approach.
- ICA or ACAMS certification is considered an asset.
