About the Role

UNIKraft Techno LLP is looking for an experienced Robot Teaching Engineer for an industrial automation project at our customer location in Chennai.

We are looking for a hands-on FANUC Robot Engineer with experience in robot teaching, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for someone who has personally programmed, taught, commissioned and troubleshot industrial robots and is comfortable working in a customer-site/shop-floor environment.

Key Responsibilities

- FANUC robot teaching, programming, touch-up and position correction
- Create, modify, test and optimize robot programs
- Work with TCP, Tool Frame, User Frame, PR, Offset and calibration
- Robot installation, commissioning and production prove-out
- Troubleshoot robot programs, I/O, interlocks, sequences and operational issues
- Support robotic welding applications and optimize robot paths
- Establish and troubleshoot PLC–Robot communication
- Work with PLCs, sensors, welding equipment, fixtures, positioners and safety systems
- Support 2D/3D vision, camera calibration and laser sensor applications
- Maintain robot programs, backups and technical documentation
- Coordinate with PLC, electrical, mechanical, welding and customer engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of relevant industrial robotics / robot programming experience
- Strong hands-on FANUC robot experience
- Proven experience in FANUC robot teaching and programming
- Robot commissioning and troubleshooting experience
- Good knowledge of TCP, Tool/User Frames, PR,



Offset and robot I/O
- Understanding of PLC–Robot communication and interlocks
- Experience working in customer-site / shop-floor environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good spoken and written English communication
- Ability to work independently during commissioning and production support

- Robotic welding / FANUC welding experience
- ABB robot experience
- FANUC ROBOGUIDE
- PLC–robot integration
- 2D/3D vision and camera calibration
- Laser sensors / laser communication
- Automotive / heavy engineering / construction equipment experience
- Experience independently handling complete robot commissioning projects

Candidate Location

Candidates currently based in Chennai are strongly preferred.

Candidates from other locations are also welcome if they are genuinely willing to relocate to Chennai.
