Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Supervise and review day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Company policies.
- Review General Ledger, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliation, Debtors, Creditors and other financial records.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of plant-related expenses, purchases, sales, inventory and other operational transactions.
2. GST & Indirect Taxation
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST laws, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns and other applicable filings.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
- Review GST on purchases, sales, services, job work, transportation and other business transactions.
- Handle GST notices, assessments, departmental queries and related correspondence.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities wherever required.
3. Income Tax & Direct Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, TDS and other applicable direct-tax requirements.
- Review TDS deductions, payments, returns and reconciliation.
- Coordinate preparation and filing of income-tax returns and related statements.
- Assist in tax assessments, notices, scrutiny and other proceedings.
- Identify tax planning opportunities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
4. Audit & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Auditors and other skilled advisors.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory, internal and tax audits.
- Prepare and provide required schedules, supporting documents and explanations to auditors.
- Monitor and close audit observations within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
5. Plant Accounting & Costing
- Monitor accounting and financial aspects of plant operations.
- Review production cost, raw material consumption, power/fuel cost, transportation cost, manpower cost and other manufacturing overheads.
- Prepare and analyze product-wise / plant-wise cost statements.
- Monitor actual cost against budgeted/standard cost and identify variances.
- Support Management in improving cost efficiency and controlling unnecessary expenditure.
6. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports for Management.
- Provide reports relating to:
- Sales & Revenue
- Purchase & Expenses
- Profitability
- Cash Flow
- Receivables & Payables
- Inventory
- Plant Costing
- Budget vs. Actual
- Outstanding statutory liabilities
- Highlight major financial variances, risks and unusual transactions to Management.
- Provide financial analysis and actionable insights for management decision-making.
7. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist Management in preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and working-capital requirements.
- Assist in financial planning for plant expansion, capital expenditure and other business requirements.
8. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Establish, review and strengthen financial controls and accounting processes.
- Identify financial, taxation and compliance risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.
- Monitor potential leakages, irregularities, duplicate payments and control weaknesses.
- Maintain confidentiality of the Company's financial and commercial information.
9. Banking & Working Capital
- Monitor banking transactions, fund utilization and working-capital requirements.
- Coordinate with banks regarding working-capital facilities, limits, documentation and financial information.
- Review bank reconciliation and interest calculations.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure availability of funds for operational requirements.
10. Management Support
- Act as the key financial advisor to Management on accounting, taxation and financial matters.
- Provide financial analysis for major purchases, contracts, projects and business decisions.
- Review financial implications of commercial agreements and major transactions.
- Assist Management in evaluating profitability and financial feasibility of new projects and investments.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
