Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tekla Detailer / BIM Modeler with hands-on experience in Tekla Structures to join our Structural BIM team in Trivandrum. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D structural models, preparing fabrication and erection drawings, and coordinating with engineers and project teams to deliver projects as per required standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed 3D structural BIM models using Tekla Structures based on engineering drawings and design information.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, shop, assembly, and erection drawings.
- Create accurate structural steel members, connections, plates, bolts, and other structural components.
- Prepare material take-offs, BOMs, and reports from Tekla models.
- Read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and design information.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other BIM disciplines to resolve design and modeling issues.
- Identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues.
- Incorporate design revisions and maintain models and drawings as per project requirements.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with fabrication and site teams when required.
- Complete assigned modeling and detailing work within project schedules and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering,



or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Tekla Structures.
- Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures and structural steel detailing.
- Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices.
- Ability to read and understand structural engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in structural steel detailing and BIM modeling.
- Experience working on Australian projects or projects following Australian standards will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Australian structural steel detailing practices and standards will be preferred.
- Experience in fabrication and erection drawings.
- Experience with international clients and multidisciplinary BIM coordination will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

Australian Shift- 05:00 AM to 01:30 PM
Work Location- Trivandrum, Kerala

Candidates should be comfortable working in the above shift and coordinating with Australian-based project teams.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
