We are looking for a proactive and analytical In-House Business Consultant who will work closely with management to improve business performance, streamline operations, increase sales and profitability, and implement better systems and processes across the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis

- Analyse sales, profitability, expenses, inventory and store performance.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular business performance reports for management.

2. Sales & Growth

- Identify opportunities to increase sales across stores, retail and wholesale.
- Analyse product/category performance and recommend changes.
- Develop strategies to improve customer acquisition, conversion and repeat business.

3. Processes & SOPs

- Review existing processes and create/improve SOPs.
- Standardise processes across stores and departments.
- Identify areas where automation or technology can improve efficiency.

4. Store & Operations

- Monitor store performance and operational efficiency.
- Identify reasons for underperformance and create corrective action plans.
- Work with store managers and department heads to implement improvements.

5. Inventory & Cost Management

- Analyse fast-moving and slow-moving inventory.
- Identify opportunities to reduce wastage and unnecessary costs.
- Improve inventory planning and stock movement.

6. Team & Performance Management

- Help management establish KPIs and measurable targets.
- Track employee and department performance.
- Recommend systems for accountability and performance improvement.

New Business Opportunities

- Research new markets, products, customer segments and revenue opportunities.
- Evaluate business ideas and provide feasibility analysis.
- Support management in implementing selected growth initiatives.

8. Project Execution

- Take ownership of strategic projects assigned by management.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely execution.
- Track progress and report results to management.

Ideal Candidate

- MBA / Business Management background preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in business consulting, management consulting, business strategy, operations or a similar role
- Experience in retail, consumer business or multi-store operations
- Should be hands-on and execution-oriented, not only strategy-focused
