About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Python, API Testing, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through robust automation testing strategies and best practices. You will work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions that improve software quality and accelerate delivery cycles. This role provides an opportunity to work with modern technologies in an Agile environment while contributing to the organization's automation testing strategy.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Develop comprehensive test plans,



test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, bottlenecks, and quality risks.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Validate backend data through SQL queries and database testing activities.
- Conduct UI, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing activities.
- Create and maintain automated regression test suites for continuous validation.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met before releases.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a quality assurance perspective.
- Support test execution in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-enabled environments.
- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and testing issues.
- Prepare test reports, execution summaries, quality metrics, and automation dashboards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and automation standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support production validation and release verification activities when required.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Automation Testing and Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation.
- Experience in Playwright or Selenium-based automation implementations.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation development.
- Strong experience in UI Testing, API Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End Testing.
- Experience performing API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.




- Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and database testing.
- Experience creating robust test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests within DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Experience working with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and automation best practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
