We are looking for an experienced and passionate PYP Coordinator to lead and strengthen the implementation of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) across the Primary School. The ideal candidate will be a strong instructional leader who can inspire teachers, nurture inquiry-based learning and build a culture of reflection, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous development of the IB PYP framework.
- Support teachers in translating IB philosophy, approaches to teaching, and approaches to learning into classroom practice.
- Mentor and guide teachers in inquiry-based, concept-driven and transdisciplinary learning.
- Coordinate the Programme of Inquiry (POI) and ensure alignment across units of inquiry.
- Facilitate collaborative planning, reflection, assessment, and curriculum development.
- Support teachers in developing conceptual understanding, learner agency, and student voice and choice.
- Promote the development of IB Learner Profile attributes and international-mindedness.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Lead career development sessions and encourage a culture of reflective practice and lifelong learning.
- Support the development and implementation of effective assessment practices aligned with PYP principles.
- Work closely with the School Leadership Team, teachers, students, and parents to strengthen the PYP learning experience.




- Maintain programme documentation and ensure readiness for IB evaluation and authorization requirements.
- Stay updated with IB standards, practices, curriculum developments, and educational best practices.
- Contribute to building a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative IB learning culture within the school.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline.
- Strong experience in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), preferably in a coordination/leadership role.
- Previous experience as a PYP Coordinator / PYP Lead / IB Primary Academic Leader will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of inquiry, concept-based learning, transdisciplinary learning, student agency, and formative assessment.
- Excellent mentoring, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead change and support teachers through coaching and professional development.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- IB PYP workshop/training certification is preferred.
- Candidates with CBSE experience along with strong PYP expertise may also be considered.
